Merry Christmas;
Mark is now in a real room again where he can have his Christmas tree from the Primary with their cards and all the lights and pictures his mom and Aunt Lori have hung "with Care"
We have opened a "Charitable Donations Account" for the Jeanes family @ America First CU, Anyone wishing to make a donation can go into any America First location.
Simply ask to make a donation in the, "Mark Jeanes Charitable Donations Account"
If you would like, Ken and Vickie Crocheron have donation receipt forms that you may keep for your records. These donations will remain completely anonymous for those wishing to remain so.
Everyone has been so sweet and the Jeanes want to thank each and everyone!

Because Mark is in an immune-compromised state please do not visit if you have had any infections including colds or flu and remember that the hospital rules require that no visitors under the age of 14 be admitted to the room.This is for Mark's protection especially in his delicate health. Please send your well wishes through the blog. Thanks for your love and understanding.

Mark is now in the surgical unit and will be there while the Oncologists and Hematologists send slides to consulting professionals to try and figure what this disease or diseases are. Everyone is stumped!! Thsi alone will require at least another week. Meanwhile Mark will be in the hospital.

Because of Mark's delicate condition they ask that NO Children come to visit and that adults only come when absolutely necessary. If you have had any infections such as flu or colds, please don't come. Instead post your comments on the blog and we will give updates as often as there is information.

There is now a "Charitable Contributions Account" set up in Mark Jeanes name @ America First CU. There have been many asking how they can contribute and this is the way to do that.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Ken Crocheron or Kathy Widdison. Lynette has been running low on cell phone minutes and is very busy taking care of Marky at the hospital but know that she appreciates every kindness in their behalf.

Sunday Night-----

What a day of emotions! The night was spent watching Marky suffer with pain, nausea, vomiting and a general feeling of "crappyness"---his words.

Even so, this morning as we prepared for his bone marrow biopsy, Marky asked me for a drink. I had to tell him once again, "No son, you need to be fasting for this test." He matter-of-factly replied....."I shouldn't be fasting for THEM...the hospital should be fasting for ME!!!!"

He traveled down the hall towards the O.R. with his spirits up and faith held knowing that many people were praying and fasting for him today.

As I left my son in the care of a group of total strangers, I felt the comfort and peace of the Savior. This ,I believe, was afforded me through the faith and prayers of so many of you. I remain ever grateful for the support and love of family, neighbors and dear friends.

The initial results of the biopsy are negative for cancer!!! One or two tests are still pending. I feel the results will again be favorable. These are all miracles !!!! Still he remains a mystery!!!!

Marky WILL prevail, he WILL be the victor! He believes he will parachute out his third floor window and go home soon!! He asked the nurse to put a trampoline underneath, just in case, though!

Goodnite and may the Lord bless each of you in every way----Lynette
